Joey Bada$$ Kicks Off Dark Aura Tour with Rapsody & Ab-Soul, Debuts Haunting New Single
Joey Bada$$ surprised fans on August 18 via social channels by sharing full details for his Dark Aura Tour, which features Rapsody and Ab-Soul. The Brooklyn MC will travel through 26 stops in North America, kicking off October 16 at Roadrunner in Boston and wrapping November 20 at The Fillmore in Philadelphia.
Over six weeks, the itinerary includes Chicago’s Riviera Theatre, Milwaukee’s The Rave and marquee venues such as Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, House of Blues Cleveland and The Fillmore Detroit. Canadian dates at MTELUS in Montreal and REBEL in Toronto prepare the road trip before heading back to U.S. stages.
The trek bridges the gap to his forthcoming album, Lonely at the Top, slated for August 29 release. Pre-release singles “Sorry Not Sorry,” “Pardon Me” and “The Ruler’s Back” built anticipation ahead of the new record’s title cut, “Dark Aura.” On that track, he taps Chuck Strangers, the producer behind many Pro Era cornerstones.
As he readies for marriage, Joey has drafted two formidable collaborators for this run. Rapsody, a Grammy-caliber wordsmith, pairs with Top Dawg’s Ab-Soul, whose intricate bars have earned him cult status. Together, they promise the Dark Aura Tour will deliver dynamic sets from start to finish.
Artist presales begin August 19, followed by general ticket sales on August 21. Interested fans should monitor official outlets for exact timing and availability.
